What are cookies?
A cookie is a small file your browser stores when you visit a website. The site can use it later to remember something, such as your choice in the cookie banner. Cookies we set ourselves are first-party cookies. Cookies set by another party, such as Google, are third-party cookies.
Besides cookies, the site uses session storage in your browser. It works in the same way, which is why it is also in the list.
Which cookies do we use?
We divide them into three groups. For each cookie you can see who sets it, what for and how long it stays.
Necessary
Always on. We do not ask for consent for these.
Without these cookies the site does not work properly or we cannot remember your choice.
Cookies
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| kraft_consent | Kraft Afbouw | Remembers what you chose in the cookie banner, so we do not ask you again on every visit. | 6 months |
| kraft_attr | Kraft Afbouw | Remembers which channel brought you to the site, such as a search engine or an ad. If you send a request, we store this channel with your request so we know where it came from. | 90 days |
| kraft_lang_dismissed | Kraft Afbouw | Remembers that you dismissed the suggestion for another language, so it does not keep coming back. | 6 months |
| kraft_lead | Kraft Afbouw | After a form is submitted, briefly stores the data for the thank-you page so it can show your request. Only our server can read this cookie. | 30 minutes |
Session storage in your browser
These are not cookies, but work in the same way. They are not sent to us and disappear on their own.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| kraft_quote | Kraft Afbouw | Stores what you enter in the quote request, so you lose nothing if you go back a step. | Until you close the tab |
| kraft_quote_entry | Kraft Afbouw | Remembers how you started the quote request, so your browser's back button works properly. | Until you close the tab |
| kraft_last_page | Kraft Afbouw | Remembers which page you were viewing before the quote request, so the close button takes you back there. | Until you close the tab |
| kraft_conv_… | Kraft Afbouw | Remembers that your request has already been counted, so a refreshed thank-you page does not count it twice. | Until you close the tab |
Statistics
Only after your consent. Without consent these components do not load.
These show us how many people visit the site, which pages they read and where they get stuck. That lets us improve the site.
Google Analytics 4
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Recognises your browser on a later visit, so we can count visitors. | 2 years | |
| _ga_FKTDQD72ZZ | Keeps track of which pages belong to the same visit. | 2 years |
Microsoft Clarity
Clarity creates heatmaps and recordings of clicks and scrolling on the site.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| _clck | Microsoft | Stores a random ID, so Clarity sees you as the same visitor on a later visit. | 1 year |
| _clsk | Microsoft | Links the pages you view during one visit into a single recording. | 1 day |
| CLID | Microsoft | Records when Clarity first saw your browser, on any site that uses Clarity. | 1 year |
| MUID | Microsoft | Recognises your browser on Microsoft's sites, for Microsoft statistics and advertising. | 1 year |
| ANONCHK, MR and SM | Microsoft | Technical cookies that maintain and synchronise the MUID cookie. Clarity does not use them for advertising. | From one session up to 7 days |
Where your visit came from
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| gtm_dd_sep_… | Kraft Afbouw | A few cookies that store which campaign or ad brought you in, such as utm_source and gclid. They are set via Google Tag Manager. | 90 days |
Advertising
Only after your consent. Without consent these components do not load.
These let us measure whether an ad leads to a request.
Google Ads
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| _gcl_au | Measures whether a click on our ad later leads to a request. | 90 days | |
| _gcl_aw | Stores the click on a Google ad, so we can link the request to it. | 90 days | |
| IDE and test_cookie | May be set by Google to measure ad results. The first recognises your browser, the second checks whether your browser allows cookies. | 13 months and 15 minutes |
Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram)
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| _fbp | Meta | Recognises your browser, so Meta can measure whether a Facebook or Instagram ad leads to a request. | 90 days |
| _fbc | Meta | Stores the click on a Facebook or Instagram ad. Only present if you arrived via such an ad. | Up to 2 years |
How does your consent work?
On your first visit you see a cookie banner. If you choose Necessary only, we only set the necessary cookies. If you choose Accept, statistics and advertising are switched on as well. With Set preferences you choose per item, for example Google Analytics but not Meta Pixel.
We use Google Consent Mode. As long as you do not give consent, the Google components receive a signal that they may not set cookies for statistics or advertising. We keep your choice for 6 months, after which we ask again.
Changing or withdrawing your choice
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the Set preferences button at the top of this page. The new choice applies from that moment. You can remove cookies that are already on your device yourself in your browser settings.
Deleting or blocking cookies
Every browser lets you delete or block cookies, usually in the privacy or security settings. If you block all cookies, we cannot remember your cookie choice and you will see the banner again on every visit.
Third parties
Google, Meta, Microsoft and Cloudflare decide for themselves what they do with the data their components collect. They may also process that data outside the European Economic Area. How they handle this is set out in their privacy statements.
Our forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, an invisible spam check. This is not one of our cookies, but Cloudflare receives technical data from your browser for it.
More about your data
What we do with your personal data and what rights you have is set out in our privacy statement.
